CONSERVATORY AWNINGS
Conservatory awnings were originally designed in Germany for glass conservatories. A little bit of sun is enough to turn a glass roofed conservatory into a sauna! Conservatory awnings stop sun and heat before it can enter the room. Conservatory awnings are also commonly used for shade over pergolas
Sundream Conservatory Awning
The Sundream Conservatory Awning is imported from Germany. It is designed to mount above glass roofs and pergolas but is also used in many other applications.
The harsh environment over a glass roof is extremely demanding. This highly versatile and robust awning runs in sturdy 6061 extruded aluminium guide tracks designed for maximum durability. All of the aluminium extrusions are powdercoated and all of the nuts and bolts are marine grade 316 stainless steel.
The Sundream Conservatory Awning is only available with motorised operation.
The side guides are all that are attached to the structure of the building. The cassette is attached onto the side guides, so does not require to be attached to the building. The compact and elegant cocoon style cassette ensures that the fabric, motor and running gear are completely protected from the elements when retracted.
At the core of every Sundream is the patented rotary pull-out system. The roller tube houses two heavy duty spring units which are increasingly loaded as the front bar extends. The more that the fabric is unrolled, the greater the tension becomes. This exclusive patented tension system means that the Sundream conservatory awning is not dependent on the easily worn out gas shocks that other less sophisticated systems rely upon.
For projections over 3m it is recommended to have an intermediate support roller for the fabric.
If supported on posts or a frame the Sundream Conservatory Awning can be used to create a weatherproof area as it will withstand a significant amount of wind and, depending on the pitch of the awning, it can also be used for rain.
The Museum of Sydney, one of a growing number of commercial sites to utilise the Sundream Conservatory Awning.
All four awnings can be controlled as a group,or independently.
The Sundream Sunroof System utilizes the latest German engineering techniques and is ISO 9001 safety tested by German TUV (Product Safety Certification).

Noblesse Awning
The Noblesse awning is mounted above a conservatory or pergola structure. This design incorporates the use of a frame mounted on guide tracks that operate using a gas compression spring system.
The Noblesse can extend up to 6 metres wide and 4 metres in projection. The guide tracks mount underneath the awning rather than at the sides of the awning as with the Sundream. This feature of the Noblesse means that the awning cover area is not limited by the size of the structure on which the awning is being mounted.
 |
The awning width can extend up to 1.5 metres wider than the pergola frame (each side) and up to 1 metre beyond the front of the structure, providing extended shade cover whilst maintaining unobstructed views.

The Noblesse can be operated manually or be motorised.
