SYSTEM 9000 EXTERNAL BLIND

The System 9000 External Blind (also known as the Aberdeen Awning) is a high quality straight drop fabric external blind with stainless steel guide wires and components. The stainless steel base rail travels down along the wire guides allowing the fabric to be stopped at any position without it flapping loosley in the breeze.

Air conditioning and heating are greatly reduced, savings of up to 40-50% on running costs, with associated reductions in greenhouse gas emissions, can be achieved by integrating Aberdeen Awnings into the design of a building.

The 316 marine grade stainless steel side guide cables and base bar compliment any modern house or commercial building.

Its resistance to corrosion makes it the ideal product along the coast.

A variety of fabrics can be used including acrylic, clear PVC and various mesh fabrics that provide shade and don't hinder the views.

The ABDEREEN SYSTEM can be manually

operated or fully motorised.

The manual operation is by means of a gearbox on the end of the roller. A crank handle is then used to wind the gearbox and raise or lower the blind.

A tubular motor inside the roller tube of the awning provides automation. The motor is either hard wired to a wall switch or can be remote controlled. If motorised the awning can have wind and sun sensors added to automatically extend in sunlight and retract in high winds.

The fabric can retract into an enclosed

cassette or onto a roller installed on

316 marine grade stainless steel brackets.
